Songs of the Human Life

This piece was conceived in the early hours of the morning after an eye-opening conversation which left me with many extreme emotions. We as people find ourselves encountering these feelings, however strong they may be at times, throughout our lives, and they can be overwhelming. This piece was written to capture the extremes of each emotional state of which the movements are titled. Each movement represents a different feeling, but they are all connected, just as all of our emotions influence each other. To acknowledge and balance all our emotions is to find peace with ourselves, and that journey requires experiencing each feeling to the extreme.
